Licensed panel upgrades for GCs

Not every sub is licensed for this. We are.

Panel upgrades require a licensed EC, a real load calc, and a permit that actually gets pulled — not a handyman with a truck. That's the whole reason GCs stop shopping around once they find us.

THIS ISN'T A HANDYMAN-LEVEL JOB

Panel work is one of the few scopes on a job site where the wrong sub doesn't just do bad work — they fail an inspection and stall your whole schedule.

Real load calcs
On-site for inspection

01

Licensed EC, not a sub-sub

EC13016338 is ours, not borrowed. Every panel job is pulled, inspected, and signed off under a license that's actually accountable.

02

A real load calc, every time

NEC 220.83, documented, not eyeballed. It's the difference between a panel that passes inspection and a change order three weeks in.

03

We show up for inspection

One of us is on-site for the inspector, every time. If there's a correction, we turn it around fast instead of leaving it on your desk.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A PANEL UPGRADE

From a straight service change-out to a full 200A or 250A upgrade with EV and future-load headroom built in.

BEFORE YOU BID THE JOB

Questions GCs ask us most. Still have one? Call us directly at (786) 684-1864.

Do you pull your own permits?

Yes. We handle the electrical permit application and submittal to Miami-Dade or Broward ourselves and track it until it's issued, so it's off your plate.

Can you work around our framing and drywall schedule?

Yes — give us your target dates up front and we'll sequence the rough-in and panel swap so we're not the bottleneck for the next trade.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial and multi-unit work?

Yes. Altek Solutions is fully licensed (EC13016338) and insured for residential and commercial electrical work across Miami-Dade and Broward.

How fast can you turn around an estimate?

Most job-site estimates are returned within a few business days of the walk, so you can get it into your bid before the deadline.

What if the panel upgrade also needs to support a future EV charger?

We size the panel and breaker layout with that headroom from the start — it's a small add during the upgrade versus a second mobilization later.
